In the going on thirteenth PSL match between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi, Shoaib Malik has been the asset for Zalmi as only he has gone for the brilliant knock from his side to drive the team’s score to 151 for being chased by the Kings at Rawalpindi stadium.
Shoaib Malik in the critical situation wisely choose to play a knock of 68 on 55 balls. He remained consistent on the pitch until he was trapped by Chris Jordan.
The Zalmi fall short of wickets losing three early wickets as the pacer M.Amir struck. Amir began successfully picking up the wicket on the very first ball knocking out the opener Banton on the first ball. Later on, in the same over, the wicket of Haider Ali was grabbed.
PZ kept on losing the momentum as Aamer Yamin smashed Kamran Akmal. Kamran could have achieved the feat of 500 PSL runs but, was not fortunate enough.
The only drive given to impossible score by was Malik or else Zalmi would have departed even earlier. M.Amir has remained brilliant picking up four wickets with the perfect economy. Aamer Yamin although grabbed a single but, kept his economy brighter than rests.
However, it is because of three early wickets grabbed that Kings don’t have to go for a bigger chase. This ain’t that bad target as Malik has geared the score for Sammy’s side
