The former test skipper and the first Pakistani to reach 10,000 test runs, Younis Khan, has come forward in support of his mate, Shoaib Akhtar.
Shoaib in a youtube video clearly stated that the board shows racism and uttered harsh words for PCB’s legal advisor that no doubt was true.
He also spoke about Umar Akmal’s matter who is now ban for three years and will not be able to play any form of cricket. Using Sharjeel Khan as an example, he tried to say that the board deals differently with the different players.
Umar Akmal is a talent waste, however, the board has exaggerated the matter a little. They showed leniency in M. Amir and Sharjeel Khan’s case. PCB, when Shoaib publically spoke the bitter truth, got harsh on him and got disappointed.
However, his fellow, Younis Khan, has fully backed him and said that his mate has spoken the bitter truth, and board shall take a look in this regard.
“Time for PCB to honestly evaluate his remarks for the betterment of Pakistan Cricket and its players. I stand by with Shoaib Akhtar,” Younis tweeted late on Thursday.
What a befitting and bitter truth spoken by @shoaib100mph! It takes a backbone to be simply uncompromisingly forthright. Time for @TheRealPCB to honestly evaluate his remarks for the betterment of Pakistan Cricket and its players. I stand by with #ShoaibAkhtar. pic.twitter.com/VuVYIYpcgi
