PSL Franchises Reveal their Released and Retained Players

The Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises have reported their player maintenances for the draft for the fifth version of the edition.

Practically all the key individuals from the Pakistan T-20 International (T20I) side have been held by their particular groups.

The player maintenance list is going by the T20I commander and world’s No.1 positioned batsman Babar Azam, who has been held by Karachi Kings alongside quick bowler Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim.

Reigning victors Quetta Gladiators have kept confidence in previous skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed alongside pacer Mohammad Hasnain. The side have likewise retained Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, who was player of HBL PSL 2019.

Islamabad United, champions in 2016 and 2018, have held wrist spinner Shadab Khan and Musa Khan alongside New Zealand’s Luke Ronchi, player of HBL PSL 2018.

Opener Fakhar Zaman, all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez and left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi will by and by be in Lahore Qalandars’ hues, while Shahid Afridi has been held by Multan Sultan alongside current Pakistan T20I player Mohammad Irfan.

Peshawar Zalmi, victors in 2017, have held their pro pacers Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz alongside wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal.
