The captain of Peshawar Zalmi, Darren Sammy has arrived in Pakistan to play and captain his team for Pakistan Super League (PSL 5).
Sammy landed at Karachi airport on Tuesday night and while being in a conversation with the media, he said:
“I am happy to arrive in Pakistan, ready and excited to play in PSL,”.
The arrival of Darren Sammy at Pakistan has made him the first international player to reach the country.
Still many foreigners are to arrive at the cricket-loving nation and the land of pacers, Pakistan. Hundreds of players who have taken part in HBL PSL 5 will soon be reaching to joy every aspect of the country.
As PSL has become one of the fastest-growing T20 leagues among other leagues so, many foreigners have registered themselves for the fifth edition of the league and will be coming to play soon.
Peshawar Zalmi has been the runner-ups for the previous edition of PSL held back in 2019 against Quetta Gladiators under Sammy’s captaincy. They also have once gotten the title of HBL PSL winners.
