PCB refuses to increase gate money share of PSL franchises

The governing board of Pakistan Cricket; (PCB) Pakistan Cricket Board has refused the requests of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises to increase the gate money share of the tournament.

The PSL franchises have requested to the PCB to avoid cashing the cheques presented by them while requesting additional time.

The PCB had recently acknowledged the interest of expanding portion of the gate cash for the franchises to 70 percent. As of now, the establishments get 60 percent of the gate cash while the PCB gets 40 percent.

As per sources, the move has been made to show a thing or two to the PSL franchises, which have been requesting more concessions. The past concessions made by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the franchises additionally give off an impression of being under risk.
