There is no history of previously played T20 game at Multan Stadium. Also, no records on the international scale for T20 exist. Nevertheless, in 2008, an ODI between Bangladesh and Pakistan was played.
After 2009 Sri Lanka attack, doors of international cricket were closed to Pakistan, since then no matches have been played here. PCB has spent 2 Billion PKR on the up-gradation of the Multan’s cricket venue along Rawalpindi.
