The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) conducted the third round of COVID-19 test as a result of which, six cricketers including Mohammad Hafeez have been tested negative.
The six players are now eligible to join England for the tour.

- Wahab Riaz,
- Mohammad Hasnain,
- Shadab Khan,
- Mohammad Rizwan
- and Fakhar Zaman
The six players were tested negative in the second test as well and as a result of two negative tests, they can now join the team on the tour.
However, Haider Ali, Kashif Bhatti, and Imran Khan have been tested negative thrice as a result of which they get deprived of joining the team.

“All the six players were re-tested on Monday, following their first negative test on June 26,” the PCB confirmed.
Earlier, the England Cricket Board (ECB) arranged a COVID-19 test of a 20-men squad of Pakistani players. Despite players, twelve officials were also a part and the bowling coach, Waqar Younis also joint the team for England tour.
Consequently, all of the 20 Pakistan players and 11 official management have been tested negative as a result of the first round of the COVID-19 test.
However, the players are now in Worcestershire where they will be isolating themselves for fourteen days. After quarantining, cricket training will take place which will be followed by a test match on 30th July
