Lahore Qalandars’ stars, David Wiese and Ben Dunk will be available for the Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020) if the management will be calling them. There is a high probability for Dunk as he dominated the team in the season combining partnerships with Lynn and added big runs to win.
On the other hand, Wiese, who was not much stable with the bat this season, is not much hope if the side will call him to get featured in the last stages. Although, if called, will be in Pakistan to get highlighted.
David Wiese, Ben Dunk available if Lahore Qalandars call them
“I don’t think anybody thought that the playoffs were going to happen, with the pandemic and everything taking place. I’m looking forward to it, and hopefully, we can put in some good performances and make it all the way,” he said.
“It’s always nice to contribute towards the winning of the team but you know, on any given day, anything can happen. I’m just happy to be out there and do well for the team. There are so many other great players that Lahore has this year, so maybe I might not even be needed for those last couple of games,” Wiese added.
On the other hand, Dunk is really optimistic to turn his double figures into triple figures as he hopes for lifting the trophy for Qalandars this season. He is awaited for the call and is hopeful of playing final representing his franchise exceptionally as he already did in the fledge season.
“I’m really privileged to be coming back to Pakistan and playing these finals. I really hope that we perform well but more importantly that we provide you guys, sitting at home, who have had a tough last seven or eight months, some entertainment,” Dunk said.
