The CEO of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Wasim Khan, has revealed that Asia Cup will go ahead either in Sri Lanka or in UAE.
There is combat between BCCI and PCB over the venue. As Pakistan got the hosting rights for ACC’s event, BCCI denied visiting Pakistan amid political tensions.
Now, the hosting rights are suspected for Sri Lanka and UAE is also a participant, Subsequently, Wasim has revealed either of the venues can be selected for holding the mega-event.

“The Asia Cup will go ahead. The Pakistan team returns from England on 2nd September so we can have the tournament in September or October. There are some things which will only get clear in the due course of time. We are hopeful of having the Asia Cup because Sri Lanka has not had too many cases of the Coronavirus. If they can’t do it, then UAE is also ready,” he was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
