Aakash Chopra, the former Indian captain, has praised Shadab Khan and declared him as the best player of Pakistan Super League (PSL 2020).
Shadab Khan was appointed as the skipper of Islamabad United for PSL 2020, which made him the youngest skipper in the history of PSL.
He emerged as a leg-spin bowler from PSL 2, but he now has polished his skills with the bat as well, He played brilliant knocks of 263 runs at an average of 37.57 and a strike-rate of 159.39 and was praised by Chopra on Twiter in a video.
Although he picked only eight wickets in PSL 2020, being a bowler, it shall have been his priority to go for the wicket hunt. Seeing Shadab batting sensibly, was something new for everyone, and he received applauds of praise by everyone.
According to Aakash Chopra, “Shadab Khan was the player of the tournament for me. Even though he took only eight wickets, but he batted well, so well done to Shadab and our Adaab to you.”
The groomed skills with the bat are the sign that the PCB might confirm his place in the squad for the T20 world cup as a middle-order batsman.
